MAC Narcissus Cremesheen Glass Review

I’ve been neglecting my glosses lately but Narcissus has me jumping back into the juicy lips look head first! I was first introduced to the Cremesheen glass formula back when MAC released the Guilty Passions holiday sets and I went nuts over it. It’s soo creamy and moisturizing! I was pretty excited to see Narcissus repromoted because the color is beautiful and it’s pretty opaque.

If you’re not familiar with the Cremesheen glass formula they’re mostly on the sheer side. Whenever I come across a shade as pigmented as Narcissus I just eat it up! It’s a beautiful pinky purple that reminds me a lot of Seductive Intent mattene lipstick. This gloss is creamy without feeling slippery and isn’t sticky or tacky like the original lip glass formula. It also doesn’t settle or gather in fine lines on me. Narcissus is delivers plenty of color on my pigmented lips with just one swipe but I do like to layer it for more intensity. Although Narcissus wears better than your traditional lip glass it doesn’t last as long. I get about 3 hours of wear with it. It’s not super long lasting but the formula makes it a joy to reapply. I just wish it was a bit cheaper ($20)!

Narcissus is limited edition but is still available online at Nordstrom.
