MAC Divine Night Haul & First Impressions

Funny how I always end up hauling from collections I swear I’m going to skip! I planned on only hauling a lipstick and eyeliner but somehow a Mineralize Skinfinish and blush jumped into my cart too lol. Swatching things really gets me into trouble!

Divine Night didn’t really appeal to me at first because I more than enough blushes and highlighters to cover every cheek in town. Plus, it all looked pretty dupable. However, there are some pretty unique products in this collection!

My first pick was the Private Party lipstick. It’s honestly a pretty dupable shade but I’m a sucker for limited edition MAC packaging. It reminds me a tiny bit of MAC RiRi Boy but more mauve and a bit darker. I do like it alone but I just adore how it looks with MAC Magenta and Nightmoth lip pencils. They really amp up the look!

Perfectly Poised is right up my alley! I planned on skipping it though because I have so many gold highlighters. But Perfectly Poised isn’t your typical peachy gold highlight! The square has a pinkish cream base with an iridescent pearl. It reminds me of MAC Diamonds cream color base but it has a sheer pink base. Together, the result is a peachy pink shade with a beautiful glow.

Lavish Living was a total impulse but I just LOVE it! It looked amazing in the pan but the $28 price tag was a bit off putting. Like, who do you think you are MAC? NARS?! Lol kidding. But they’re definitely pushing it with the price hike plus the “limited edition” tax. Once I swatched it all good sense went out of the window LOL. Lavish Living is a beautiful deep plum blush with tons of sparkles. I can’t wait to try it on!

Mystery was a must have of course because I just love green eyeliners! Mystery will look fabulous on my waterline for a pop of color or make a unique cat eye. It’s a deep blackened green with a slight pearl that would look great on everyone!
