Chanel Les Beiges No. 70 Review

Lately, I’ve been finding myself drawn to Chanel makeup. It’s pricey but it just screams luxury! Can you really blame a girl for high glamour tastes? My latest Chanel muse is the Les Beiges Sheer Glow powder. It’s just amazing!

The packaging is simple yet so elegant and beautiful. It features an off white plastic casing with black trimming and the Chanel monogram printed on top. The casing snaps open at the push of a button revealing a small moon shaped brush. The brush is actually pretty nice quality! The bristles are very soft and not flimsy.

I was more impressed with the finish of Les Beiges than I thought I’d be! It leaves a very natural luminosity to the skin and makes me look flawless. It’s rather sheer but definitely buildable as I had no issues wearing it alone. I don’t have much scarring or imperfections though so I don’t think it has much coverage on it’s own. Les Beiges does work very well over foundation as well! I think more ladies will prefer this as a setting or finishing powder than on its own.

Les Beiges is finely milled and feels pretty silky but it’s powdery. My fluffy powder brush kicked up a lot of excess powder which can get a little messy and wasteful. It blends easily and melts into my skin rather than just sitting on top of it. I get all day wear out of Les Beiges alone or over foundation.

If you’re looking for a sheer finishing/setting/everyday powder that’ll make you look flawless then I’d definitely recommend checking out Les Beiges! The shade range isn’t the largest though so everyone probably won’t find their perfect match. Which works anyway since it’s rather sheer. If you lips more coverage and a more dramatic effect then Les Beiges probably won’t wow you. It’s very subtle. But very beautiful!

Chanel Les Beiges is available for $57.50 at Chanel and select department stores and specialty stores.
