MAC Mystery Kohl Power Pencil Review
You know what I’d really like for Christmas? For MAC to just make their Kohl Power pencils permanent. They’re such a joy to use! Mystery is my first Kohl Power pencil and as you can see I’m pretty smitten with it. I love the way it brightens up my eyes!
Mystery is described as an intense black with green pearl but it has a bit of blue in the mix. It has a dark black base with some green and shimmer tossed in that sometimes reflects more teal than green. I actually had the hardest time photographing Mystery because of this. It’s such a tricky little color!
The formula is very soft and pigmented. I get nice opacity in one swipe but I like to build up for intensity. Mystery smudges well following application but once set it lasts me all day. I can get at least 8 hours of wear (even on my waterline) before I notice any fading. I’m not sure if Mystery is listed as waterproof but it survives through my constant eye watering no problem.
Mystery is limited edition but it’s still available at Macy’s.
Whoa this is SUCH A NICE SHADE! Can’t believe it lasts so well! Most kohl pencils die on me FAST!

I usually have the same issue on my waterline with my eyes being soo watery but Mystery holds up so well and it’s so beautiful! You should definitely check it out!
