Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat No. 6 Review

I’ve already told you guys about the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat highlighting concealer in my recent faves post so I’ll keep this review short and sweet! Touche Eclat costs a pretty penny ($40.00) but the formula is definitely one of the best I’ve tried so far.

The packaging screams luxury and definitely represents Yves Saint Laurent well. The click-type highlighter pen features a shiny gold design with a brush tip applicator. I find the applicator useful to apply the concealer but I recommend using another brush to blend it out.

Touche Eclat is very lightweight and has an almost watery like consistency. It’s not nearly as thick or creamy as other formulas I’ve tried so I find it very easy to apply in a pinch. Number 6 is a creamy yellow beige with red undertones that would work great as a corrector as well. The strong red undertone gives it a nice peachy cast that helps counteract the blue in dark circles.

The coverage is pretty light but can be built to medium without looking cakey. I don’t need much coverage at all but ladies suffering from dark circles might want to test a sample first. Touche Eclat definitely needs to be set with a powder after applying as the watery consistency makes it prone to creasing throughout the day. Besides the creasing and high price tag I can’t find too many things I don’t like about Touche Eclat. I definitely recommend checking it out if you’re looking for a lightweight naturally radiant concealer!

Touche Eclat is available for $40.00 at Yves Saint Laurent, Sephora and select department stores.
