We all have that one brush that we love to use over and over. Doesn’t matter how many dupes we buy we always come back to that one brush. Not because the other ones aren’t any good! But that one brush just gets the job done and puts you in your zone. The MAC 168 Large Angled Contour is THAT kind of brush.

The 168 brush features MAC’s typical wood handle and nickel plated brass ferrules. The handle is longer than most brushes but I still find it comfortable to use and hold. It’s a very clean and simple design that looks professional and feels pretty well built. I’ve washed this brush countless times and it has held up nicely. No loose ferrules. Minimal shedding. It even keeps it shape pretty well.

The brush head is small yet dense and fluffy. It works well for all face sizes. Even tiny faces like mine! The bristles are natural. MAC doesn’t list what kind of fibers were used on the site but I believe it’s goat. The bristles are very, very soft and feel so good on the face. Not a touch of scratchiness! The soft fluffy shape picks up pigment with no problem and blends like a dream. I use it for just about everything! Cream, powder, blush, highlight and contour. The 168 truly does it all! It’ll set you back $35 but I totally believe it’s worth the investment. You can’t go wrong with the 168!
