Revlon Berry Couture Super Lustrous Lipstick Review

After my year long MAC affair I kinda forgot how nice drugstore lippies can be! Especially when they aren’t loaded with strong scents and bulky packaging. Revlon Berry Couture is one of many drugstore lipsticks I’ve fallen for lately. The packaging is simple and chic. It’s unscented so no super strong diaper or watermelon fragrance here (sorry Milani and Maybelline). Berry Couture is just creamy pink lip goodness. Check it out!

Berry Couture is a mid-tone pink with just the tiniest hint of purple with a creamy shine finish. It doesn’t tug or drag during application and it’s opaque in just one swipe. It has a slight sheen when you first apply it but within 2 hours you’re left with a nice satin finish that isn’t drying or hydrating. Just comfortable! Berry Couture wears for around 3-4 hours before fading into a nice stain that lasts for another hour or two. I didn’t experience any feathering or bleeding and it didn’t accentuate any dryness either which I really liked. Lipsticks tend to look a little icky as they fade but this isn’t a problem at all with Berry Couture! I’ve always been a fan of the Super Lustrous line as they tend to perform pretty well for me. I wish the wear time was a little longer but otherwise Berry Couture is pretty darn good! For around $7 (or even cheaper during a sale) I highly recommend checking it out. Especially if you love pink lips like me!
