Hello April, goodbye March! Last month was filled with lots of hauling and stash raiding so I have some new faves on the block and some old goodies. Take a look!

MAC Magnetic Appeal Extra Dimension Skinfinish This is an old time favorite of mine but it’s still holding strong! Magnetic Appeal is just such a gorgeous highlight! I can get a nice subtle golden glow with just a light sweep or go for a full on glowy goddess look if I pile it on, What I love the most about Magnetic Appeal is that it’s so hard to over apply. It never looks super metallic or emphasizes pores. It’s just the best!

Maybelline Hibiscus Haven Color Elixir Lip Color It was so easy to fall in love with this lippie! The color drew me in but the formula really blew me away. Hibiscus Haven is hands down the easiest pale pink lippies I’ve ever tried. It’s extremely forgiving on my dry lips and it feels so good!

Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum I bought a mini Hourglass primer duo quite a few months ago but didn’t try this out until last month. I wish I tried it sooner! I LOVE this stuff! The No. 28 Primer Serum is hydrating and makes my skin look super soft and smooth. Plus it makes my makeup look amazing!

L’Oreal Fuchsia Orchestra Extraordinaire Lip Color Fuchsia Orchestra was another love at first sight lippie! The texture really reminded me of Hibiscus Haven so it was no surprise that I was all over this lip color last month. It’s a joy to use! It makes my lips look so juicy and the color is to die for. It became my everyday lippie in no time!

Huda Beauty Giselle #1 Lashes Let me just start off by saying that this woman’s lash line is incredible! I love ALL of her lashes! Yes, all of them. One of my faves are the Giselle #1 style. They remind me a lot of the ever so popular demi whispies but a little better. They look so glamorous but still natural making them perfect for everyday wear. They’re super easy to clean and extremely durable. I’ve gotten well over 10 uses from a single pair. If you’re in the Middle East I highly recommend you hightail it to Sephora and grab a few pairs!

NARS Black Valley Eye Paint I didn’t think I’d ever get over my YSL gel liner until I finally tried my Black Valley Eye Paint. I can’t get enough of this stuff! It’s super creamy, pigmented and lightweight. Perfect for my signature cat eye! It also doubles as a cream eyeshadow so it’s perfect for a hot, dramatic smokey look too.

NARS Bourbon Street Larger Than Life Eyeliner I’m here for anything purple and long lasting and Bourbon Street definitely fits the bill! This is an eyeliner anyone can use and love. It dark enough to define the eyes but it still gives a nice pop too. I don’t think I went a day without smudging Bourbon Street on my bottom lid. It looks so good with a sexy cat eye and popping pink lip!

Now it’s your turn! What were some of your faves last month?

    Hey Fancie!
I have been on a “no buy” this past month so I was able to rediscover some old favorites. I loved MAC Superb MSF, NARS Taos Blush, Loreal True Match n8 foundation, MAC Crosswires lipstick/Ablaze liner, Dior Nude Skin powder in 070, and my LA Pro Girl Concealers in Toast and Fawn. I am in the market now for new skincare for the new season. I am thinking of trying Origins. Do you know much about them? or have any other suggestions? My skin is combo (dry) BTW. THanks!!

I’ve been doing the same! I’m trying to slow down on the impulse buying since I’m not working at the moment and it’s allowed me to rediscover some old faves and some stuff I forgot I even had lol. I haven’t tried anything from the brand yet but I have heard a lot of good things about them. I would HIGHLY suggest checking out Mario Badescu though. I’ve tried a few of his products and I’ve been pretty pleased with them. Not only are they super affordable but everything is all natural and he indicates which skin care types each product works best for. Hope this helps!
