Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette Now Permanent!

 photo halp.jpg

The good news just keeps flowing this week! I went nuts after missing out on the limited edition Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette when it released during the holidays last year. Can you imagine my excitement now that it’s permanent this year? I couldn’t be happier! I know limited edition makes everything seem so elusive and magical like unicorns but I actually dislike when the good stuff isn’t permanent. It just makes things more difficult than they need to be. Makeup shouldn’t be so darn complicated! Thank goodness that Hourglass (like MAC) has decided to give us another chance.

Just in case you aren’t familiar with the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette it includes three Ambient Lighting Powders. Two of the shades are available in full sized versions and one shade is exclusive to the palette. Here’s a rundown:

  • Dim Light neutral peach beige
  • Incandescent Light opalescent pearl
  • Radiant Light sun-kissed golden beige

You can now haul the Ambient Lighting Palette without all the added stress online at Hourglass or in stores at Sephora. Enjoy!

Girl, you’re reading my mind this week, I planned on ordering this tonight! When I saw the title of your post I was hoping for a review. I watched a couple on Youtube last night to see if I should go through with it or not, but I think need to find a couple more (preferably from some darker toned ladies) to make sure it’s going to be a worthwhile investment. This thing is kind of ridiculously priced, IMO.

I agree about the price. The pans are much smaller than the full sized versions so you’re not really getting a bargain here. Just convenience. I have swatched this in store though and Incandescent and Radiant Light are very pretty on me! The jury is still out on Dim though. It seemed pale to me. I did purchase the full size but never really used it so I returned it. I’ll have to really play with it before I can pass judgment. But Radiant and Incandescent seem to work very well so far!

  2. Oops, I accidentally commented on my other name lol. That was me down there, don’t know if it’s still showing up for you or not!
