Milani Pink Rave Lip Intense Review

It’s so easy to fall for Milani. Especially with great lippies like Pink Rave! I’ve a tried a couple of the Lip Intense Liquid Lip Colors before but Pink Rave is easily my favorite. Fiery Coral was quite the hassle. Violet Addict was much better and the color is beautiful but it still didn’t wear as fabulously as Pink Rave. This lip color is just perfection!

Pink Rave features the same packaging and design as the rest of the Lip Intense. Of course, the only difference is the bright fuchsia tube. As I mentioned before the Lip Intense Liquid Lip Colors have a light plasticky scent and no taste. I really wish Milani would have added a little bit of fragrance. The scent isn’t strong or distracting though. It’s just weird.

Pink Rave is a bright fuchsia that goes on pretty creamy and smoothly. It’s incredibly pigmented and applies evenly and opaque in just one swipe. The Lip Intense formula feels like a liquid lipstick so you’ll definitely want to prep your lips before hand (exfoliate and moisturize). I didn’t find Pink Rave to be drying at all but it’s a rather clingy formula that does hug dry spots a bit. I didn’t find it to be too troublesome though. Because Pink Rave is much darker than Fiery Coral and Violet Addict it was barely noticeable. Upon application, Pink Rave has more of a satin finish but about an hour later it dries to a nice matte finish. Pink Rave wore quite comfortably for 5-6 hours before it began to stain and fade. I didn’t experience any feathering or bleeding until Pink Rave was almost completely gone. Even then, it still didn’t look too bad or make my lips feel dry. It’s certainly a huge improvement from Fiery Coral! If you’re a Milani fan like me or looking to give the brand a try I definitely recommend checking out Pink Rave! It’s my favorite Lip Intense so far!
