Can you guess which drugstore makeup brand is my favorite? I’ll give you a hint. Everything is packaged in shiny gold. It’s Milani! I absolutely adore Milani so I thought it would be a cool idea to share my top 5 favorite products. Let’s jump right in!
The first fave is a no brainer. I’ve been raving about the Color Statement lipsticks for months now. But only because they’re so awesome! I’ve enjoyed every lipstick I’ve tried so far. The Color Statement lipsticks are typically pretty creamy, pigmented and long lasting. Not to mention the color range and variety of finishes are very extensive. There’s literally something for everyone! There are a lot of great drugstore lipsticks but the Color Statement lipsticks are at the top of my list.
I’m not the biggest gloss gal but the Brilliant Shine glosses definitely have me sporting lacquered lips more often! The formula is quite different from most glosses. They’re moderately pigmented, feel good on the lips and last forever. The Brilliant Shine glosses are perfect for ladies who like a nice wash of color that doesn’t require touch ups every 2-3 hours. After trying just one I ran out and grabbed a handful more. I love them!
When it comes to blushes, Milani is like the NARS of the drugstore world. The Baked Blushes are silky smooth, blendable and pretty pigmented too! I hope Milani releases more shades soon. Especially for the matte blushes. I would love to get my hands on more!
It seems like I randomly became a polish junkie overnight (darn mani mondays!) and Milani didn’t make things any easier for me. I can’t rave about the polish line enough! From solid colors to glitters, Milani really knows how to do polish. They apply pretty evenly and opaque plus they dry rather quickly too. Like the Color Statement lipsticks, I’m itching to get my hands on just a few more!
Okay, I only own 2 Milani lip pencils so far. However, I love them so much I had to include them! The Anti-Feathering lip pencil is such an amazing (and affordable) lip primer. It really helps to smooth out the troublesome lipsticks in my stash. Fuchsia, on the other hand, really makes lippies pop! I love pairing it with my pink and purple lippies. Plus, it looks beautiful alone! Both pencils are quite creamy and comfortable to wear which easily sets them apart from the other lip pencil brands I’ve tried. I hope Milani also adds more shades because I would love to see a deep wine and vibrant purple!
