MAC Black Ivy Fluidline Review
The MAC Moody Blooms collection didn’t have a lot hype like the Osbournes but there are still some really great pieces hidden in there! There were bold eyeshadows, stunning blushes and beautiful lip colors galore. Oh, and gorgeous fluidlines too! Honestly, I wanted them all. But it was Black Ivy that stood out the most. It’s so beautiful!
Black Ivy is deep blackened green with a subtle blue undertone and faint shimmer. It pulls more of a deep teal on me but I still love how it looked on my skin tone. Black Ivy is dark enough to define my eyes with a funky winged look yet still has enough pop to brighten up a neutral look on the lower lid. The formula is just as impressive as the color, too. It applies very creamy and pigmented while lasting for over 8 hours. My eyes have been quite watery lately so I did experience a little smudging in my outer corners. Thankfully, it didn’t give me the raccoon look though! Even with my watery peepers I still feel like Black Ivy is a wonderful eyeliner to have in your stash. It’s a very versatile color that looks great year round and could double as a cream eyeshadow. Lucky for you, it’s still available online at MAC for $16.
