Happy July! June turned out to be a really nice makeup month for me! I managed to pick up a handful of new goodies but I also got a chance to really explore some products I’ve owned for a little while. There’s nothing like getting a chance to play in all the pretty makeup lying around your vanity!
MAC Sea Worship Extra Dimension Eyeshadow Alluring Aquatic really took me by surprise! I didn’t plan on getting any of the eyeshadows but a couple of them stood out to me. Sea Worship is a rather unique shade to my stash so I couldn’t resist getting my hands on it! It’s a shimmering bronzed olive that’s beautiful on the lid but also looks gorgeous lightly applied as a cheek highlight.
MAC Sea Me Hear Me Extra Dimension Blush Sea Me Hear Me was another product from the Alluring Aquatic collection I thought I could live without. It turned out to be a new favorite of mine! It has a gorgeous subtle glow and the color looks so natural on my skin tone. I just adore it!
MAC Lorelei Extra Dimension Eyeshadow Lorelei is just a dream to have! I have plenty of gold eyeshadows but I’m always reaching for Lorelei! The texture is buttery soft and the color is very flattering on my complexion. Like Sea Worship, Lorelei also works very well as a cheek highlight. I love using it to add a bit of glow to my looks!
Milani Violet Volt Color Statement Lipstick Violet Volt has quickly become one of my purse lipsticks. It pretty much never leaves my purse because it’s so easy to wear and looks great with everything! I thought I’d be a little put off by the shimmer but it’s so subtle and the formula is so kind to my dry lips that I always want to wear it. I can’t see myself taking it out of my purse anytime soon!
Wet n Wild Cray Cray Creme Lipstick I’ve been all about purple lately but I just can’t do without one pink lipstick hanging around. It’s just how I roll! Cray Cray has become my go to pink lipstick because the color is so bold and beautiful. It has just the right amount of purple to make it a little more unique than your average bright pink lipstick. Plus, it works nicely with my dry lips!
NYX Violet Macaron Lipstick Words can’t express how much I love Violet! I literally had to force myself to stop wearing it so I could test other lippies. Violet looks amazing on its own but it’s also a wonderful mixing lipstick too! I’ve been using it to create all kinds of fun, bold colors. I love it so much I’m going to pick up another tube soon!
NARS 413 BLKR Blush Leave it to NARS to create the perfect everyday blush! The 413 BLKR blush adds a beautiful wash of color to the cheeks with a buttery texture and satin finish. Whether I’m fully made up or rocking a more natural look the 413 BLKR blush makes me look fabulous!
MAC Dodgy Girl Lipstick I hate that Dodgy Girl was so limited because everyone should have a tube! I honestly wish I had 2! Luckily, I was able to get my hands on at least one and I just can’t stop wearing it. It’s a pretty pinky lavender that’s beautiful worn alone or paired with liners and glosses. I’ve created some of the prettiest lippie combinations with this beauty!
