Iman Kinky Pink Luxury Moisturizing Lipstick Review

Oh, Iman! I’m slowly falling for you and I can’t get up! I’ve always read positive reviews about Iman products but I hesitated to try them. Honestly, they’re a little pricey for a drugstore brand but the quality seems to be there. So far, I’ve tried two of the Luxury Moisturizing Lipsticks and they’re worth every penny! Taboo was simply amazing and the beautiful Kinky Pink seems to be a pretty great follow up. Take a look!

Before I get started, can I take a moment to appreciate the name? Kinky Pink? * swoons * So adorable and so fitting! It’s a super bright, warm coral pink with a satin finish and faint sweet scent. The color is similar to MAC Red Balloon but it’s darker and a tad more pink. Kinky Pink has a very creamy, lightly moisturizing texture that applies smoothly and evenly with intense pigmentation. A little definitely goes a long way!

Kinky Pink wore very comfortably for around 7 hours before it began to fade and stain. While it feels good on the lips, you’ll still want to exfoliate and maybe toss on a lip liner underneath. The creamy formula doesn’t feel slippery but it can bleed and settle into lip lines a bit. It’s pretty easy to control and isn’t super noticeable so it doesn’t bother me much. Overall, I simply adore Kinky Pink! The color is beautiful and the formula is great. It lasts just as long as my MAC Retro Matte lipsticks but feels so much better on the lips. Kinky Pink may set you back $10 but the quality is worth every penny!
