L.A. Girl Hot Mess Glazed Lip Paint Review

The new Glazed Lip Paint shades are finally up on the L.A. Girl site and I’m so tempted to place an order! Lately I’ve been playing around with Hot Mess and I’m convinced I need just a couple more. They’re so pigmented and so cheap I could collect them all!

Babydoll turned out to be a little disappointing but Hot Mess performed much better! It’s a bright, warm tangerine orange with a glossy sheen and strong minty scent. The finish is a little milky but it doesn’t cling to dry patches or settle into lip lines much. Hot Mess is much more easier on the lips! In true Glazed Lip Paint fashion, Hot Mess is intensely pigmented with a thin, runny liquid texture. The formula does slip around a bit so you’ll want to use a lip liner to keep everything in place.

Hot Mess feels pretty moisturizing and wears quite nicely too! It lasts for around 3-4 hours before fading away into a light stain. I do wish the Glazed Lip Paints came with a brush applicator but Hot Mess didn’t give me any troubles so I can’t complain too much. If you like to rock an orange pout then I think you’d really enjoy the L.A. Girl Hot Mess Glazed Lip Paint. The color is beautiful and it’s a steal at just $4!
