Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE Barbie? I was so obsessed with her as a child! I made my mom buy me countless dolls (including the life-size version), the bed set and so much more. So when I found out that Forever 21 had released a Barbie themed collection I got crazy excited. I still adore her! Barbie’s style and flair is iconic so there was no way I could resist sporting a few pieces from her super affordable collection.

I’m sure you’ve probably seen this lipstick set all over Instagram by now. All of the makeup enthusiasts seem to love posting beautiful shots of them and I completely understand why. I spent an hour taking pictures of them myself! The packaging is very simple but still so cute!

And the colors? So Barbie! There’s 3 creme finish lipsticks for every occasion. You have:

• Pink Rose clear base with pink shimmer
• Fuchsia cool magenta
• Red Rouge bright cool red

All of the lipsticks have a soft creamy texture and a faint sweet candy-like scent. Pink Rose is more of a lip balm with traces of pink shimmer but Fuchsia and Red are rather pigmented. The quality seemed pretty decent during swatching so I have a good feeling these will apply well too. And that I’ll probably need a backup set. You know. Just in case! 🙂

I was hoping I’d find one of those cute pink fuzzy Barbie sweaters or a pullover but no luck. I did manage to find a few cute accessories though! I also picked up this adorable hair brush with the coolest hashtag trends on it.

At 24, I may be a little too old to love this print so much but it’s my guilty pleasure! #Barbie #IWokeUpLikeThis #YASSSS. If you read that in Huck’s voice, know that I love you dearly!

And you know I couldn’t walk out of the store without grabbing one of the adorable makeup bags! I picked up the bigger version with the squared design and top handle but, honestly, I still want the mini pouch. Pictures don’t really do them justice. They’re SO CUTE!! Not to mention pretty roomy too!

I’ve only had the makeup bag for a few days but the quality seems to be pretty decent. The zipper works well and the bag holds quite a lot of stuff. I’m actually going to show you guys very soon just how much stuff you can squeeze in it so stay tuned! Now, about those lipstick swatches…..enjoy!
