L’Oreal Eva’s Nude Colour Riche Lipstick Review

Have you ever bought makeup just for the packaging? I’m totally guilty of that. Pretty packaging is just too tempting! I’m not the biggest fan of nude lips but I just had to grab a couple of the L’Oreal Perfect Nudes lipsticks. The rubbery matte tube and gold detailing feels and looks so luxurious!

Oh, and the lipstick is pretty good too! Eva’s Nude is a warm toned rosy beige with a slight pink undertone and satin finish. It has a light powdery floral scent that isn’t too offensive but I can’t say that I’m a fan. It reminds me of hand lotion which I find odd. However, once you get past the scent I think you’ll really like Eva’s Nude! It’s one of those nude lipsticks that’s a breeze to wear. It isn’t too pale or too brown so it complements both light and dark skin tones very well.

Eva’s Nude has a very soft, creamy texture that applies smoothly and mostly opaque. The formula is very emollient so it applies a bit unevenly and create lines when you press your lips together. I found that wearing a lip liner or primer underneath seems to make a difference though.

Usually, nude lipsticks are rather drying and unflattering after a while but Eva’s Nude isn’t so bad! I did experience some minor bleeding and feathering but no settling at all. Eva’s Nude was actually quite comfortable to wear and lasted for around 3-4 hours before fading. I honestly wasn’t expecting much out of Eva’s Nude but I’m really digging it! I recommend checking it out the next time you hit your local drugstore.
