I don’t know what I’m loving more right now: berry, nude or vampy lips. They’re all so darn hot! If it wasn’t for my NARS Audacious lipsticks, pink lips wouldn’t even cross my mind these days. And that’s saying a lot!

My latest lip muse? The vampy Tempt Glazed Lip Paint. It’s a deep blackened wine with a minty scent and lots of shine. The color looks pretty intense and intimidating in the tube (and swatch) but it’s actually much less scary on the lips. With a light application, it looks more like a deep, red wine but as you apply more the blackened tones become more apparent.

I was a little worried about how Tempt may perform but it’s quite a treat to wear! The texture is thin and runny but it’s fairly easy to apply as long as you don’t dispense too much. Just be sure to have a mirror handy because the color doesn’t deposit as evenly as I’d like. But it’s pretty easy to fix with an extra layer or two.

Vampy shades can be hard to pull off in a gloss formula but Tempt is rather easy to wear. It doesn’t bleed or feather much and it didn’t settle into lip lines or emphasize flakes either. The formula feels really good on the lips as well so it’s comfortable to wear too. Tempt lasts for around 2-3 hours before you start to lose that glossy feel but the color lasts all day and night. I do wish Tempt applied a tiny bit more evenly but otherwise I think it’s a nice, easy to wear vampy gloss that looks good and won’t break the bank. If you can manage to find the L.A.
