Sometimes when it comes to makeup you either love it or hate it. That’s definitely the case with the Rimmel ScandalEyes Rockin’ Curves mascara. Some people love it. Some people hate it. Me? I like it. It’s not the best mascara in the world but it gets the job done.
The Rockin’ Curves mascara sports some pretty funky packaging with its chunky, bright red barrel design and snakeskin print. Again, I like it! I think it’s really cute and edgy. The brush is really intriguing too. It’s a slightly thick, bushy tipped applicator with a S-shaped design. Sure it looks a little gimmicky but it actually worked well for me. The S-shape gives me a little more control and it really grips my unruly lashes right down to the base.
The formula is where it gets a little tricky. It adds a nice amount of volume and length but it has a tendency to get clumpy. I don’t mind the clumpiness too much because it’s not very noticeable from a distance and it gives my lashes a little boost. The formula doesn’t wear too badly either. I get over 8 hours of wear before I notice some slight smudging and it holds up well through my watery moments. Rockin’ Curves honestly isn’t a bad mascara in my opinion. I just wish it added a little more length and I’m sure most people can do without the clumps. Overall, I’m glad the Rimmel ScandalEyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara was included in my Influenster Moda Vox Box. It’s not holy grail material but it makes a great addition to my makeup bag!
