Flower Beauty My Little Buttercup Shine On Lip Gloss Review

It doesn’t matter how good your nude lipstick is. Once it begins to fade it just doesn’t look as sultry or carefree anymore. That’s why we have nude glosses! They really seem to revive nude lips by adding a little color, sheen and dimension. One of my new fave nude glosses is the Flower Beauty My Little Buttercup Shine On Lip Gloss. It’s so beautiful!

My Little Buttercup is a cool taupe with fine multidimensional shimmer and a soft sheen. It’s a nude gloss that’s very unique. Not just to my stash but in general. Both high end and drugstore brands tend to gravitate towards warmer, peachier nudes so My Little Buttercup is very refreshing to see. Especially for under $10!

I was immediately drawn to it when I saw it at Walmart and completely fell in love when I tried it. My Little Buttercup looks extremely natural when worn alone and it takes every nude lipstick I throw at it to another level. I tried it over Milani Matte Naked lipstick and it was everything! The soft sheen made my lips look super juicy and the multidimensional shimmer gave it a nice illuminating effect. I even paired it with some nudes that are a little too light and it toned them down quite nicely. Very versatile!

While I could certainly live without Flower Beauty’s signature hand lotion scent I really do enjoy the Shine On Lip Gloss formula so far. Stop the Violets! performed quite well and My Little Buttercup is quite the treat too! It applies smoothly and evenly with semi-sheer coverageĀ and has a creamy slightly thick, tacky texture that’s lightly moisturizing and comfortable to wear. The color doesn’t settle into lip lines or emphasize flakes much. And thanks to the thicker texture it also doesn’t bleed or feather.

My Little Buttercup wears quite well for around 2-4 hours before completely fading away. Once it’s gone, my lips still feel super soft and moisturized so I definitely think My Little Buttercup is a winner. Whether you’re looking for a sheer nude gloss for fuss free days or to amp up your everyday nude lipstick I think the Flower Beauty My Little Buttercup is well worth the buy!

I know how much you loathe Walmart, you actually went there to get these? Haha. Are these part of the new Flower products that just showed up there this week?

Lol for some reason people keep dragging me there. I believe this is part of the regular line. I picked it up some time ago

I just bought a nude gloss from the Flower line. I can’t remember if it’s this one. I haven’t tried it yet. But, I’m glad it’s moisturizing.
