NYX Copenhagen Soft Matte Lip Cream Review
I’m not the biggest fan of red lips but for some reason I love burgundy lipsticks. They’re just so sexy! And a little less intimidating to wear too. I always feel like I have to be completely dolled up for a red lip. Burgundy just seems more relaxed yet still edgy. The perfect compromise!
That’s why I’ve been loving the NYX Copenhagen Soft Matte Lip Cream. It’s a beautiful mid-tone burgundy lipstick with a sweet candy scent and smooth, semi-matte finish. I know the tube looks a little intimidating but Copenhagen is actually much lighter than I thought it would be. It’s actually a breeze to wear.
Nothing like the Rimmel Atomic Rose Show Off Matte Lip Velvet! Copenhagen applies smoothly and mostly even with full coverage and a lightweight texture. The formula is very easy to apply and wasn’t drying at all. I did experience a little bleeding but it didn’t emphasize flakes, settle into lip lines or feather. So it’s nothing a little lip liner can’t fix!
Copenhagen wears rather well and lasts for around 4-5 hours before fading into an intense stain that’ll last all day and night. I love slipping this beauty on when I know I’m going to be out running errands all day or hanging with friends. Copenhagen is a pretty great lipstick once you finally get your hands on it!
