New NYX High Voltage Lipsticks!
NYX has gone all out for spring! I’m talking new contour palettes, lip glosses, lipsticks and more. The works! Lately, I’ve been finding myself falling in love with the new Intense Butter Glosses but I think a new love affair is on the horizon with the new High Voltage Lipsticks.
NYX describes the High Voltage formula as:
A creamy, shiny and intensely pigmented lipstick that glides on with ease leaving rich color with one swipe. High Voltage Lipstick drenches lips in lush color from nudes to bolder shades.
I’m still a little hyped up off the Intense Butter Glosses so I haven’t quite tried these on yet. But they swatched so, so beautifully! The formula feels ultra smooth and creamy and they’re all pretty pigmented. The lighter shades (nudes) could use a little building but the rest were all pretty opaque. I have pretty high hopes for these! Here’s a rundown on the shades I picked up:
- Dahlia black purple
- Feline red plum
- Burlesque bright deep red
- Wine & Dine semi-deep plum with pink undertone
- Privileged hot pink with blue undertone
- Playdate bright lavender
- Flutter Kiss soft pink mauve
- Stone beige
- Flawless ash nude

Oh wow, there are some really interesting shades there! They look so densely pigmented as well. That’s always a good thing in my book 🙂
I’m really loving this line right now! The color range is pretty impressive and they’re all so creamy and pigmented. NYX did a bang up job!
