Naturally, I didn’t go to Target and get just one thing. That’s just preposterous! No one ever goes to Target and walks out with just one thing. Even if that’s exactly what you planned to do. Somehow, things just hop into your hands and the next thing you know you have a cart full of stuff at the checkout line. I call it the Target curse.
It happens to get me every time but something good almost always seems to come out of it though. Like discovering new products to try! I’ve been eyeing the Shea Moisture Cosmetics line for a while now so when I spotted the brand on sale I scooped up a couple of lip glosses. A sale plus a coupon? Why not!
I picked up two of them: Jenny, a bright pink, and Caroline, a beige nude. Upon swatching them I noticed 2 things that I didn’t like–the smell and the applicator. These have that old school plastic scent that’s not too strong. Just off putting. There’s also a small brush applicator which I’m not typically a fan of. I much prefer doe foot applicators as they’re easier to use and pick up a bit more product. However, I’ve read some pretty nice reviews about these so I won’t count them out before I really give them a try.
Have you tried any Shea Moisture makeup?
