After a long week, I’ve finally been able to try a few things from my Sephora Love Note hauls. Well, besides the Too Faced Melted Metal Metallic Lipsticks. I’ve been loving those things lately! But I got around to trying a couple of other things like the Lancome Lip Lover glosses.
Lancome describes these beauties as:
A 3-in-1 lip perfecto that offers the ultimate non-sticky shine, rich lipstick like color, and long lasting hydration. Lip Lover gives lips the shine of a gloss, the color intensity of a lipstick and the cushiony feel and comfort of a balm. This intelligent emulsion formulation blends two phases in the bottle, and upon application, break apart into two layers: one upper gloss-like layer with shine, transparency, and a plumping effect and one lower, oil and pigment layer that creates a balmy base so that color pigments can adhere to lips.
I ordered two shades: Beige Adage, a rose pink nude, and Violette Pirouette, a purple. Both shades are moderately pigmented with Beige Adage being a bit more opaque and Violette Pirouette edging more on the sheer side. I’ve been wearing Violette Pirouette all day and so far I’m really digging the formula! It reminds me a lot of the L’Oreal Extraordinaire Lip Colors except these are slightly more hydrating and a tad bit more cushion-y. Which isn’t bad at all! I can definitely see myself tossing these in my work bag soon as they seem pretty easy to wear. Expect some reviews soon!
