Dang June, is that you already?! I’ve been waiting for summer all year and I can’t believe it’s almost here. I can literally taste it! The last couple of days have been cold and rainy but I know that fickle Michigan weather will bounce back soon. It always does. While I wait, I’ll give you a quick run down on the products that made my routine as easy as a breezy summer day. Shall we?

Black Radiance Milk Chocolate Soft Focus Finishing Powder, NARS Loose Light Reflecting Setting Powder, L'Oreal Infallible Setting Spray, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream, Eye Gel Cream, Sephora Cream Lip Stain 12 African Violet 15 Polished Purple, Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo, Black Radiance BB Cream Honey Amber, Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara, MAC Cyber World Lip Pencil

MAC Cyber World Lip Pencil I know summer is all about bright lips but on the gloomy, rainy days I like to switch it up and rock a vampy lip. Cyber World, a deep blackened purple, pairs well with just about any lipstick I throw at it–vampy or bright. I’ve been pairing with my Sephora African Violet Cream Lip Stain and it’s become my go to summer lip.

Black Radiance Milk Chocolate Soft Focus Finishing Powder turned out to be a pleasant surprise for under $10. This setting powder is lightweight, silky smooth and finely milled so it’s easy to apply and it wears pretty darn well too. I’ve tried it with my Black Radiance BB Cream and my new beloved Dior Nude Air foundation and it works like a charm every time!

NARS Loose Light Reflecting Setting Powder is an excellent translucent powder for WOC. I’ve always stayed away from translucent powders because they’re infamous for making brown skin look dry and ashy but this powder does the exact opposite. I love using it to set my concealer as it’s very soft, finely milled and completely translucent.

Black Radiance Honey Amber BB Cream has been quite a nice alternative to my Dior Nude Air foundation. It’s sheer yet buildable and easy to apply so it’s great for the days I’m rushing out of the door for work. Not to mention, the finish is rather nice too. It’s natural and dewy. Perfect for summer!

L’Oreal Infallible Pro Spray & Set has been god sent on those 80º days where I still want to be beat and pretty all day. It’s a lightweight setting spray that really helps lock in my look and prevent it from sliding off in the summer heat. I also like that it refreshes the skin after setting completely taking away that powdery made up look.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream ended up making its way into my stash after receiving a sample of it in my Target Beauty Box. Needless to say, I ended up falling in love with the weightless, hydrating formula so I had to go and grab the full sized version. It’s an excellent moisturizer for summer!

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel Cream was an impulse buy after picking up the Gel Cream but I love this stuff so much! It’s incredibly hydrating and helps to slightly plump those annoyingly deep fine lines I have under my eyes that love to soak up concealer.

Make Up For Ever Pro Sculpting Duo deserves all the hypes and pretty pics you see splattered all over Instagram! The highlight powder is nothing short of amazing as it gives the most beautiful golden glow in just one sweep. And the bronzing powder isn’t too bad either! I was shocked to see the light bronze shade transform on my skin and actually act as a subtle contour.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara is an excellent mascara for bringing out those bottom lashes. Every time I apply a coat or two, my eyes instantly look bigger and doll like. It doesn’t do much for top lashes but it looks amazing paired with my Kiss Poise falsies.

NARS Siam Matte Multiple will always be a staple in my routine. Especially in the spring and summer! This bright red-orange blush is incredibly intense but it’s easy to sheer out for a soft wash of color that makes my cheeks look like I’ve been playing and laughing in the sun all day.

Dior Nude Air Foundation is hands down the best foundation formula I’ve tried yet! No, I’m not just hyping it up because I work for Dior now either lol. This stuff is just really that great! It offers a nice amount of coverage while still feeling weightless and looking like you’re wearing nothing at all. I receive compliments literally every single time I wear it. It’s holy grail status!

Sephora African Violet & Polished Purple Cream Lip Stains are the bomb! I honestly can’t stop wearing them. Both colors are insanely pretty and the formula is such a treat. It reminds me a lot of the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks which you know I’m obsessed with right now. I’m already plotting to get my hands on Marvelous Mauve when I can finally catch it in stock!
