How to Leave the Nail Salon Smudge Free

Physicians Formula Argan Wear Ultra Nourishing Argan Oil

I don’t know about you guys but I always smudge my nails after leaving the salon. Always. Between my short attention span and my lack of desire to sit in any salon I always end up jetting out of there maybe 2 minutes or so after the manicurist applies the top coat. Or maybe less. Because it always seems like I’ve been sitting there forever and my nails should be dry by now. But nope.

Before I even make it home I’m bound to have at least 2 major smudges. You know, the ones that mush around and leave lines and such. So annoying! Not to mention incredibly hard to fix, too. After having a quick discussion with a manicurist, she informed me that using cuticle oil after you’ve polished your nails helps them dry faster and keep you from smudging them. Why by golly Batman, it works!

As I told you guys before, beauty oils are infinitely useful and works wonders on cuticles so the next time I went to get my nails done I took my Physicians Formula Ultra Nourishing Argan Oil with me. After the manicurist applied the top coat, I applied a drop of argan oil to each nail making it sure it covered every inch. Afterwards, I hopped out of the chair, grabbed my keys and proceeded home. When I got home I noticed none of my nails were smudged. None! And my nails were completely dry. Yaaaasss! Since then, I always make sure to bring my Physicians Formula Argan Oil to the nail salon.

I urge you to do the same too! Especially if you’re impatient and hate waiting around for your nails to dry. Just pop a beauty oil of choice (doesn’t matter) in your purse, apply after the top coat and done!

Since having a baby (have to wash my hands 20x a day) , I don’t do my nails anymore except for very special occasions. But this is very helpful, thanks for the tip!

Exxxcellent tip! I never go to a nail salon, but as someone who is always sort of busy with doing something around the house, fast drying nails are a must. Thank you!

Ahhh that will definitely make manicures hard to keep. No problem though!

You’re welcome! I know I can’t be the only person who doesn’t like to literally watch paint dry lol
