What’s Your Most Flattering Lipstick?
There’s way too much fun to be had on Instagram! I don’t get to spend too much time on there but it literally only takes a second to find something interesting. In between all the pretty makeup shots and such I came across a fun beauty challenge that I’d like you guys to join in on too! First up, we’re gonna share our most flattering lipsticks.
We all have them. That one lipstick that really pulls your look together and everyone loves. Mine happens to be MAC Heroine. I don’t know what it is about this bright purple but it just seems to go with everything I toss at it. Not to mention, it seems to be a hit amongst others. Whether I’m at work or just hanging out someone always stops to ask, “What’s on your lips?” And of course, I have to tell them all about this pretty little thang! ‘Cause it’s a lipstick that looks good on pretty much everybody. When you Google it, you’ll see tons of ladies in a variety of complexions absolutely killing it!

That does look absolutely gorgeous on you! You rock purple lips so well, they almost seem natural on you. =0 I’m honestly not sure which lipstick is the most flattering on me… NYC’s Retro Red (fire red), NYX’s Intense Butter Gloss in Orangesicle (ridiculously bright reddish orange) and ColourPop Julep (bright coral) are my favourites, and ones I can remember getting compliments on, so ah.
Maybelline’s divine wine is a popular one for me.

Mine is 914c Mocha-licious by none other than the cheapie – Wet-N-Wild!! I get so many compliments on it and it goes with everything! I’ve been wearing it for years now and just love it. It’s one of the prettiest mauve-browns by far! I have so many lippies but it’s just simply my fave!!! Hands down!
Nothing wrong with that! You get to go through tube after tube without breaking the bank. That’s like an added perk lol! I think people really sleep on those WNW lipsticks. They’re the bomb for $2! I bet Mocha-licious looks beautiful on you. I’m curious to ramble through my stash and see if I have it now lol
Check it out Fancie because it’s hella pigmented, has beautiful staying power – especially if paired with a great lip pencil – and goes great with most things. I especially like it with a brown smokey eye. It’s not over powering, but just adds a little kick of color – and the mauve in the brown does just that for my complexion. I’ve bought several for my friends. I’ve actually bought it four times, lol – and given it away. I’m on my second tube and will be needing a new one soon. I just hope that they don’t or haven’t changed the formula. I watched a huge 26 MAC dupe vid the other day and I’d say 40% of them were WNW dupes. I never knew until this last summer. Some of then are too wild for my taste but there’s one that I’m dying for now Fergie’s daily. And I watched a vid on their eye primer and it’s supposed to be and exact dupe for the one that I have, Too Faced. The Fergie’s one anyway. I’ll have to go to Walgreens or CVS to get it though. Fergie’s daily is really pretty nude. That’s next on my list. I did get a new creme – NYX – and I’m sort of disappointed. The staying power really isn’t there. Oh well, win some loose some…..lol
Omg Gina! I just picked up literally 2 bags of stuff from CVS and Target and you’re gonna have me right back in there. Lmao they’re gonna think I’m a crazy lady! I really like the Fergie line so I’m definitely going to check that out. I’m also picking up the primer asap because I love the Too Faced version. Have you tried L’Oreal creams? Everyone loves the True Match line and I believe there’s creams as well

Aww man Berry Haute is a good one! I used to wear it ALL the time when I first got into makeup. I still have a little nub of it left lol. And thank you! You most certainly need to get your hands on Heroine. If you like Berry Haute I know you’ll slay Heroine!
Fancie, that’s such a pretty pic, Heroine is so gorgeous on you! I have so many lippies, so hard to pick, but I think the most flattering is a red with some brown undertones – MAC Hearts Aflame -LE of course. And Heroine is one of my Top 5 Faves!
