Friday Faves!

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, Bobbi Brown Extra Balm Rinse, Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream, Urban Decay Bittersweet Afterglow Blush, Urban Decay Bittersweet Revolution Lip Gloss

TGIF! This has been an especially long week but it wasn’t all bad. There was some fun stuff tossed in. Like for instance, I was off today, so I went and grabbed the new limited edition Milan liquid lipsticks and then got my nails painted a pretty pink. I also got a chance to learn a lot about Bobbi Brown products and play in some new Urban Decay goodies I picked up a while back. So I’d say this week wasn’t too bad!

In fact, this week resulted in a whole new set of faves that I’ve found myself reaching for religiously these days. I guess you could call them my Friday Faves this week. 🙂 They include:

Bobbi Brown Extra Eye Repair Cream My under eye area is crazy dry and I have an endlessly deep wrinkle under each eye that loves to soak up foundation and concealer so I swear by eye creams. While I still love my Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel Cream I’ve been using my Extra Eye Repair Cream on my drier days or when I know I’m gonna need my concealer to look nice and smooth for a long shift. Since I now have to sport a full face of makeup 4-5 days a week, this baby has been a lifesaver!

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base This is actually a moisturizer but I love using it as a primer. On top of it being hydrating, it makes the skin look radiant and smooth all while smelling like sweet, delicious lemons. My foundation and concealer apply like butter whenever I use it.

Bobbi Brown Extra Balm Rinse This stuff is heavenly! It’s a rich, creamy cleansing balm that gently removes makeup and dirt while leaving the skin feeling soft and supple. Now that I’m wearing more makeup on a regular basis I’ve been in the habit of washing my face nightly and the Extra Balm Rinse makes my routine so simple. It removes pretty much all of my makeup and is so hydrating that I don’t even need a moisturizer once I’m done.

Urban Decay Bittersweet Afterglow Blush Bittersweet has basically been my go to blush this week. You’d be surprised how effortless purple blush can look! Thanks to the slight sheerness of Bittersweet, the color is very easy to wear making it a great go to blush to pair with pink and purple lippies.

Urban Decay Bittersweet Revolution Lip Gloss Couldn’t have the blush without the gloss right? It’s a great thing I think that way because Bittersweet gloss is just as easy to wear (and addicting) as its blush counterpart. It packs a little more punch than the blush so it adds a nice touch of color to the face and little comfort to the lips. I’ve been wearing it to work all week to keep my lips from getting too dry and flat.

What are some of your Friday Faves?

I have the UD Blush and Gloss and love both of them! It’s amazing how the color works on my fair/light skintone and your darker one. All of the Bobbi Brown products sound intriguing…I might need that Enriched Face Base for winter – it’s not that cold here, but it gets very windy outside and the office A/C is always blasting inside, so my face dries out fast
