Line, Shade & Smudge with the Rimmel ScandalEyes Shadow Sticks

You know what I have a newfound appreciation for? Shadow sticks. It’s been years since I’ve used one but it took the Rimmel ScandalEyes Eyeshadow Sticks to remind me just how handy these little buggers are. If you know me, you know I like to stick to my signature cat eye because I rarely have time to blend 3-4 shadows all morning.

That’s why I scooped up a few of the Rimmel ScandalEyes Shadow Sticks. Rimmel describes them as:

Rich, intense colour applies in a flash with the jumbo applicator to create a dramatic look in just one stroke–as an eye shadow or an eyeliner. The creamy formula blends effortlessly for a luminous finish and waterproof and smudge-proof 24 hour wear

Instead of fussing with complicated eye looks I can pop on one of these babies and go. In less than 5 minutes, I can sweep one across the lids for a wash of color, define my eyes or softly blend the color into the crease for smokey look. The possibilities are endless!

And since these babies are so creamy they require very little blending. The ScandalEyes Shadow Sticks are a busy/lazy girl’s dream! There’s currently 11 shades and I have 4 of them including:

  • Bootleg Brown
  • Naughty Navy
  • Trespassing Taupe
  • Blamed Blue

While I love them all, I’ve been reaching for Bootleg Brown religiously as it makes for the easiest, quickest smokey eye that’s great for day and night. To spice it up a bit, I like to add a little Trespassing Taupe to my waterline (to make my eyes look bigger) and then smudge Naughty Navy or Blamed Blue along my bottom lid for a pop of color. They all work so well together!

Want to try one? You can find them at your local CVS, Walgreens, Ulta, Target, etc.

The blue and teal are gorgeous! Might get the teal, as I have enough blue liners for now. Hope they stick on my oily lids
