What Are Your Skincare Essentials?

Chanel Lotion Douceur Gentle Hydrating Toner, Chanel Lait Confort Creamy Cleansing Milk, Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream

Now that we’ve talked about our hair care essentials let’s shift gears to skincare, shall we? Like makeup, I like to switch up my skincare routine from time to time so I’m always trying new products here and there. However, I’ll always have a few staples that’ll never leave rotation. Along with some new goodies too, of course. Here’s a rundown on my current skincare essentials:

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream for Eyes + Face These are new products to my skincare routine but I’ve been loving them lately. The Hydro Boost Gel Cream is very lightweight, absorbs quickly and is formulated with hyaluronic acid so it’s crazy hydrating too. They’re currently my top moisturizer picks at the moment.

Chanel Lotion Douceur Gentle Hydrating Toner This baby has been a staple in my routine for over a year now. I bought it on a whim and ended up falling in love with it. I didn’t realize how important toner is! It cleans up all the leftover dirt and makeup after cleansing, balances the skin and protects it from environmental damage. My skin has been in tip top shape since I’ve started using this regularly.

Chanel Lait Confort Creamy Cleansing Milk As you can see, Chanel makes some pretty great skincare products and this Cleansing Milk is definitely one of them. It’s pretty much a makeup remover and gentle, hydrating cleanser all in one. I simply massage a drop or two into my dry skin and rinse to completely remove my makeup and leave my face squeaky clean without feeling dry and stripped.

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser This is another cleanser that’s been hanging around for a couple years. Not only does Purity make a great gentle cleanser but it’s also a great brush cleanser. In fact, it’s one of my holy grail brush cleansers because it gets them completely clean while leaving them feeling soft and smelling fresh. It’s a must have!
