My Bobbi Brown Telluride Cheek Picks
September is right around the corner which means fall is quickly approaching and it’s time to switch things up with your makeup routine. You know the routine! Switch out those bright lips for something earthier and vampy. Put up those bright blushes and such and trade them for shades of brown, plum and tawny pinks.
I’ve already started rocking vampy lips since it’s already starting to get a little chilly here in Michigan so now I’m in the mood to start switching out my brighter blushes for softer, more muted shades that’ll complement this cool mid-summer breeze we’ve got going on right now.
As you can imagine, I have a ton of highlighters and blushes but there were a couple of cheek goodies in the recent limited edition Bobbi Brown Telluride Collection that caught my eye. They’re so perfect for fall!
My first pick is the Sunset Pink Shimmer Brick ($46). It’s a gorgeous highlighting palette fused with shades of pale, golden and rosy pinks that’s suitable for cheeks and eyes. When swirled together, it creates the a beautiful soft rose gold glow that’s to die for!
Then there’s the Telluride Pot Rouge for Cheeks and Lips. Ugh, this thing is just heaven in a pot! It’s a muted mauve-y brown with a slight pink undertones that’ll make the perfect fuss-free everyday blush for medium to deep complexions. At first, I thought it would end up being a little too pale for me but then I swatched it and started drooling over it. I totally recommend my dark skin divas to check out Telluride! I know most women with deeper complexions shy away from blush to avoid the dreaded “clown cheeks”. However, Telluride is impossible to overdo thanks to the soft, muted color and it complements brown skin so well that it just looks like a nice natural flush. It’s a must have for fall!
