Switch Gears to Gloss with the Make Up For Ever Artist Plexi Gloss
I know you’ve probably been thinking to yourself, “Man, when will this girl get tired of mattes?” Well, that day may never come. But I do feel a little break coming on. Matte lips are just so high maintenance! You have to be on top of your exfoliating and moisturizing, line your lips to perfect and then apply that baby just right for the perfect look.
The finished result is always worth the work but sometimes (most times) I’m always in a rush so I’m forced to try to do it all in the car. i picked up 3 of the opaque shades including:
- 104 Brown Beige
- 406 Burgundy
- 500 Lilac
I’m currently wearing Brown Beige now and I’m liking the formula so far. It was easy to apply and the formula is lightly moisturizing so I know it’s going to make a great lipstick topper for work. I do wish it was a little more opaque but Brown Beige still offers a nice wash of color so I think I’m going to like it.

I like Burgundy and Lilac!
All three of those are lovely. I only have Beetle so far, but I really like it. I think the split applicator is fantastic. It’s so easy to get into the corners and around the Cupid’s bow.
