Remember those brown gal friendly Bobbi Brown bronzers I showed you? It’s about time you got one. Like today. Because Bobbi’s bronzers are the bomb! I’ve been using Deep for a few weeks now and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. All this time I had no idea bronzers were so darn nifty. Who knew?

Apparently, Bobbi knew because she’s one of the few brands who included us darker divas in the bronzer spectrum and I’m incredibly thankful. ‘Cause this baby doesn’t disappoint! Deep is a warm deep golden brown with a slight red undertone and natural matte finish. I like to use it to add definition (subtle contour) and warmth but it’s actually great for other things too. Like color correcting. Yup, bronzers color correct too! Bobbi recommends using a bronzer (that suits your skintone) to counteract redness or to help your foundation blend with your face and chest better. Doesn’t that sound better than frosting your neck and chest like a cake?

On top of being a true multi-tasker, Deep comes equipped with a great formula, too. It’s pretty pigmented with a soft, silky texture that’s not too powdery. It seems that Bobbi’s bronzers are designed to be foolproof because Deep is very easy to apply and blend–on bare skin, foundation and powder. And it lasts! My day typically runs between 10-12 hours and my face still looks nice and defined with a flush of warmth by the time I get home.

Bobbi’s bronzers are a little pricey ($40) but Deep is well worth the money. Especially if you’re a WOC struggling to find a good matte bronzer. Or trying to perfect your contouring technique. Either way, Deep Bronzing Powder will make your life a hell of a lot easier. Give it a try!
