Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer Review

Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Face Primer

TGIF! My Friday nights are usually reserved for a glass of wine and Ancient Aliens (or cartoons lol) but a while back I used to be a raging party animal. You couldn’t keep me away from the party and drinks. I’d be sipping and dancing all night until my little legs gave out. Ahhh, those were the days!

Now a days, I’m getting kinda old and I can’t hang like I used to. My stomach turns at the thought of shots and if I have more than 2 cocktails I’m waking up with a hangover, for sure. Yuck!

There’s nothing I hate more than waking up with a hangover. They’re insufferable and unbearable. But Too Faced has whipped up a cure for that! No, not for your excessive drinking the night before, you party animal, you. For your skin!

Even if you don’t enjoy an occasional glass of wine (or shot) from time to time, your skin can still start to look dull, sallow and dry over time. Factors like lack of sleep, the environment and your naughty junk food addiction all start to take a toll on your skin leaving you waking up with a complexion that’s hungover and in need of some replenishing.

My skin is pretty much always dry so I was instantly drawn to Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer thanks to its yummy hydrating blend of coconut water and other skin revivers like olive oil. The formula is designed to hydrate, smooth and brighten the skin for a radiant complexion primed and ready for a flawless makeup application. It has a lightweight, thin creamy texture with a faint sweet coconut scent that feels incredibly refreshing and absorbs quickly.

I’ve been using the Hangover Replenishing Primer for over a month now and I couldn’t be happier with the results! It keeps my skin nice and moisturized all day while slightly plumping up my fine lines and adding a killer glow to my complexion. I usually struggle with my concealer and foundation settling into my fine, dry lines but even after 10+ hours my makeup still looks fresh and mostly crease-free after using the Hangover Replenishing Primer. I also love that it makes my skin look super smooth and luminous like I’ve been bathing in the finest golden sunlight rays all of my life.

Although I’m more on the dry side, I think the Hangover Replenishing Primer may be a great fit for oily gals too. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue and even on the hottest of days (oddly, it’s still 80º here) my makeup isn’t sliding off–even if I’m sweating bullets. The Too Faced Hangover Replenishing Primer is an all around solid contender across the board. I highly recommend asking for a sample the next time you visit Sephora or Ulta to cure that hangover!
