Ahhh, summer. It’s way too hard to say goodbye! Excuse me while I have a quick Boyz II Men moment. It’s officially fall but the warm weather already has me reminiscing about summer. Especially those calm, warm summer evenings. When the sun turns a blazing orange and the sky is filled with different shades of pink, blue and orange. So gorgeous!

I guess that’s why I was instantly drawn to the Bobbi Brown Telluride Eye Palette the moment I saw it. Bobbi was so inspired by the warm, beautiful sunset in the skies of Telluride, that she whipped up an entire collection to capture those warm neutral hues of tawny bronze, pink and brown. The star of the collection is the limited edition Telluride Palette which features 7 shadows in a variety of finishes designed to help gals of all complexions transition from fall to summer.

The shades include:

• Cream Eye Shadow a warm white
• Woodrose Eye Shadow a brownish pink
• Velvet Plum Metallic Eye Shadow a black plum shimmer

All of the shadows have a soft, silky texture with great pigmentation except for Blazing Star which is more of a layering shadow. It’s loaded with this gorgeous iridescent chunky micro-glitter that works best when you apply it with your fingers versus swirling a brush into the pan. I’ve been layering it over the matte and metallic shadows on clients for sparkling effect that’s fun and completely customizable. It’s hands down my favorite shade in the palette!

I love the overall feel and color scheme of Telluride because it’s a foolproof palette for simple everyday looks or glamorous smokey eyes for a night out. It reminds me of a simpler, classier and more mature version of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.
