Here’s 3 Pixi Products You Need To Try..

Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist, Glow Mist, Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

Having an Instagram account can be bittersweet at times. I love being able to connect with other makeup junkies and drool over all that luscious makeup porn. But the enabling that comes with it? Insane! I’ve lost count how many times I’ve ran out to buy something after seeing it on Instagram. It’s a seriously dangerous place!

I recently fell victim to all the Pixi porn on Instagram and ended up running to Target to grab 3 of Pixi’s hottest products: the Makeup Fixing Mist, Glow Mist and Glow Tonic. I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now and I have to admit that I’m glad I let Instagram enable me one last time.

Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist, Glow Mist

Pixi has 2 sprays: the Makeup Fixing Mist and Glow Mist. Both sprays can be used before or after you apply your makeup to hydrate and refresh the skin but they’re a little different from each other.

The Makeup Fixing Mist is formulated with rose water and green tea to hydrate, tighten pores and offer antioxidant protection all while extending makeup wear. It’s a very lightweight, refreshing spray that feels good and really helps to “set” my makeup. I can’t speak too much on how it extends the wear just yet but I just love the way it makes my makeup look. The Makeup Fixing Mist really knocks off that powdery, dry look that I get most times after setting my concealer and it helps the rest of my makeup look more natural and “lived in”. I’m really digging it so far!

The Glow Mist isn’t too shabby either. It’s formulated with propolis and Argan oil to nourish, hydrate and protect skin. Pix doesn’t market Glow Mist to extend the wear of makeup but it does set makeup and adds a luminous glow. I’ve actually been using this more on my no makeup days because it makes my skin look magic. Radiant bronze magic. I’ve only used it with makeup a couple of times but the results weren’t any less stellar. The Glow Mist will definitely help you achieve that housewives glow!

Pixi Glow tonic Exfoliating Toner

Last but certainly not least is the powerful Glow Tonic that has an insane cult following over the pond. It’s an exfoliating toner formulated with aloe vera, ginseng and glycolic acid refresh, soothe and gently remove dead skin cells for a brighter, more even complexion. I’ve been using Glow Tonic morning and night for a couple of weeks and I’m very impressed with the results. It’s gentle, refreshing and my skin has been extremely clear these days. I have beefed up my skincare routine quite a bit lately (which we’re going to discuss soon!) so Glow Tonic may not be solely responsible for my good skin days but I definitely think it’s been lending a helping hand.

The Pixi Skintreats may be a little pricey for a drugstore range ($15 each) but the ingredients are pretty impressive and the quality is definitely there so I totally recommend heading to Target to check out these Pixi goodies!

Ooh! I actually have one pixie product and that’s the bronzer I must’ve gotten from Ipsy. Anyways when I received it, I thought oh hail naw, it’s way too light to bronze but once swatched omahgawd, it’s a beautiful natural looking highlighter. Buttery smooth and pigmented. I need to check out these products you ever reviewed. That glow spray would help a lot during the winter months for me. I have super oily skin by default so I glow yr round but I love treating and protecting my skin with good stuff when the air is so dry. Thanks for sharing, Fancie!
