Lancome Galatee Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser Review

Lancome Galatee Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser

The only thing that competes with the refreshing feeling of removing your bra and pants after a long day is the refreshing feeling of removing all of the day’s gunk off your face. It’s such a sigh of relief.

“Ahh, I can finally rub my eyes and rest my face on stuff.”

Even if my face is beat for the makeup gods there comes a time when I’m just ready to wash it all off and hit the sack. That’s why I love a good cleanser. It just helps makes that transition into relaxation/bed time oh so simple.

Lancome Galatee Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser

I’m particularly becoming a big fan of milky cream cleansers like my holy grail Chanel Lait Confort and my new favorite Lancome Galatee Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser. They’re a dream for dry skin because they go on nice and creamy then dissolve into a lightweight milky lather that’s very gentle and hydrating. I ordered the Lancome Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser about a month ago hoping it would compare to my beloved Chanel and I actually like it a little better.

Lancome Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser disperses as a slightly thick yet lightweight creamy texture but once I add it water it turns into a super hydrating lightly foaming milky cleanser that delivers a deep, thorough cleanse–even without a makeup remover. This stuff really gets the job done!

Waterproof eye makeup, full coverage foundation and indestructible liquid lipsticks don’t stand a chance against the Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser. It dissolves all makeup and dirt on contact without leaving my skin feeling tight, dry and stripped. In fact, my skin feels silky smooth and plump after using the Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser which a relief for my dry skin.

While the Chanel Lait Confort Cleansing Milk performs just as well I have to give the edge to Lancome for a couple of reasons. One, Lancome’s version isn’t as heavily scented as Chanel. Which isn’t too much of a big deal because the fragrance surprisingly didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. However, I’m still not the biggest fan of perfumed skincare so I much prefer Lancome’s more lightweight floral scent. I also much prefer Lancome’s price. The Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser costs less ($30 vs $45) and you receive almost 2 more ounces of product which adds up. If you’re a fan of milky cream cleansers or curious to try one out I think Lancome Galatee Confort Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser is a great start.
