Make Up For Ever 104 Brown Beige Artist Plexi-Gloss Review

Whenever I wear a nude lip, I almost always have to have some gloss on standby. Not because they’re drying but because they have a tendency to fade pretty quickly. Or worse. They get all super patchy, cracked and gross looking. Yuck! I seriously hate that. I also hate that I’m not always quick enough to catch when it’s touch-up time in the midst of all my yakking.

That’s why a trusty nude gloss is a must! My current fave is Make Up For Ever’s 104 Brown Beige Artist Plexi-Gloss. It’s a light peachy beige sporting the opaque formula so it’s quite pigmented. Not full coverage pigmented but it shows up well on my pigmented lips alone and doesn’t overpower any nude lipsticks I pair it with.

Brown Beige is a really easy to wear nude gloss that applies smoothly and evenly with lots of shine, a light vanilla cake scent and slightly thick texture that’s a little tacky but still comfortable to wear. It lasts for around 2-4 hours which is the norm for me and it leaves my lips feeling silky soft and moisturized once it’s gone.

Brown Beige has quickly become my favorite nude gloss ever since it’s made its way into my stash. It’s now a staple in my makeup bag because it’s so versatile and fuss free. Brown Beige is easy to sheer out and layer on top of lipsticks and buildable enough for a nude lip on its own. What I like best, though, is that it’s not milky and doesn’t settle into all of my lip lines like most nude glosses tend to.

I wasn’t expecting much when I first tried the Make Up For Ever Brown Beige Artist Plexi-Gloss but I’m kinda hooked on it now. If you’ve been struggling to find a good nude gloss I highly recommend checking Brown Beige at your local Sephora.
