‘Cause the holiday season isn’t complete without at least one ColourPop order! If I had to choose my favorite beauty on a budget brand for the year it would hands down be ColourPop. From the shadows to the highlighters, the quality is always amazing and the products are oh so addictive. I’ve placed my fair share of orders from ColourPop this year but there was no way I was closing out 2015 without a bang.
I’m almost always tempted to place a ColourPop order but I jumped on the opportunity to add some goodies to my cart when ColourPop announced the release of their Puppy Love Super Shock Shadow. It’s a soft peach with a pink and gold pearlized duochrome finish that’s insanely beautiful. Pictures seriously don’t do it justice!
I was already all in to order it anyway because all of the proceeds go to the Best Friends No Kill effort in LA and I love dogs. But Puppy Love really blew me away once I got my hands on it. I thought I already owned a million shadows like it but the pink and gold duochrome really sets it apart. I can’t even put into words how stunning Puppy Love is. You need it!
Liquid lipsticks are pretty much my life right now because I talk so much at work and often don’t have time for touch ups. Since I was already there for Puppy Love I figured it would be the perfect time to stock up on the Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks I’ve had on my list including:
- Guess dark blackened violet
- LAX blackened red
- More Better deep violet wine
- Teeny Tiny deep greyed out plum
- StingRaye cool toned mauve brown
I ended up ordering a huge chunk of ColourPop’s fall collection so I didn’t have it in me to go too crazy over the holiday collection–except for one piece. I love purple and gel liner so there was no way Ho Ho Creme Gel Colour wasn’t coming home with me. Ho Ho is a rich violet with purple glitter that’s both fun and festive. It looks beautiful on my brown skin alone but I’m curious to see how it’ll look layered on top of my black gel liner when I create my next cat eye.
Last but not least, I finally went and ahead and grabbed another Creme Gel Liner in Best O. I’ve really been enjoying Get Paid to brighten my eyes but I’ve been experimenting with plummy browns on my waterline and figured Best O would be a great option. Best O is a deep burgundy with a creamy matte finish that looks really good on my complexion. I’ve been wearing it for the last couple of days and it actually seems to last on my watery eyes. I knew the Creme Gel Liners were going to be good!
