It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I’m still can’t believe Christmas is just a few weeks away but it’s got me in a pretty good mood. That and I’ve been having a ball makeup shopping lately LOL! I try my best to be a good girl all year just so I can go a little crazy and spoil myself for Christmas. Which is sort of what I’ve been doing over Black Friday weekend. ?
In the midst of spoiling myself, I’ve also been making sure to start trying the new things I already have. I did a lot of shopping my stash last month which led me rediscovering and falling in love with some gems I almost forgot I had.
ColourPop Get Paid Creme Gel Liner Rose gold eyeliners are hard to come by so when I spotted the stunning Get Paid Creme Gel Liner I knew it was coming home with me. Get Paid is super pigmented, creamy and long lasting so I love using it in my inner corners to brighten my eyes and make them look more awake.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Good mascaras are hard to come by but Too Faced has crafted a wonderful formula with Better Than Sex. It’s a cute and cheeky mascara that delivers some serious drama. I’m talking volume, curl and length!
ColourPop Limbo Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick I’m still addicted to brown lips so I’ve been slipping Limbo into my makeup bag here and there to give me my fix. It’s the perfect fall brown and the ultra matte finish really adds some oomph. And I just love that Limbo lasts me all day. Literally.
Yves Saint Laurent 19 Le Fuchsia Le Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick I’ve been neglecting my pinks lately but Le Fuchsia has ignited the flame again. It’s crazy bold and bright–perfect for holidays. Plus, it looks amazing paired with my vampy MAC Cyber World liner.
Estee Lauder 430 Extrovert Pure Color Envy Matte Sculpting Lipstick Fall is all about vampy lips so I had a hard time putting down Extrovert last month. The formula could be a teeny bit better but the color is classic vampy lip heaven so it quickly became a staple in my makeup bag.
Too Faced Your Love Is King Love Flush Blush Neutral blushes are cool but sometimes you’ve gotta shake the nude look and pop some color on your cheeks. I had a blush revelation last month that led me to wearing Your Love Is King pretty much everyday. The color looks beautiful on brown skin and it pairs well with all of my fall lippies.
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask Since I’ve been learning more about my skin I’ve been masking more and the Cucumber Gel Mask is a miracle worker. It’s soothing, hydrating and detoxing so it’s perfect for keeping my dry cake face clean, smooth and clear.
ELF Hydrating Under Eye Primer My under eyes are deathly dry for some reason so I’m always looking for a little extra help. That’s why I love the ELF’s Hydrating Under Eye Primer. It’s an affordable primer that does just what the name says–hydrates and primes. My concealer goes on more smoothly and it doesn’t crease as quickly either.
Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield I hate falling for expensive primers but man do I love the results! The Invisiblur Perfecting Shield really smooths out my skin making my foundation and concealer apply and blend like silk. It also helps plump and blur my troublesome fine dry lines so I used pretty much all of my deluxe sample reaching for it so often. Guess I’ll have to invest in the full size soon.
