Man am I thankful for technology! Back in the day, 99 cent lipsticks were usually chalky, waxy and uncomfortable to wear. Today, you can find quite a few 99 cent lipsticks that glide across the lips with quality that rivals your department store stuff. Wet n Wild is a great example of that with their recently revamped Silk Finish Lipsticks.
The Silk Finish Lipstick line is quite extensive with a wide array of shades ranging from nudes to pinks to reds–all for a dollar. Or 3 for $2 if you grab them from Walgreens. Which you’ll definitely want to do if you live near a Walgreens because it’s super easy to pick out 3 Silk Finish Lipsticks with all that variety. Especially if you’ve already tried them.
Because then you’d know just how smooth, creamy and pigmented the Silk Finish Lipsticks are so you’ll hoard a handful. It’s okay ’cause I’m right there with ya! The last time I dropped by Walgreens I quickly picked out 4 shades including:
- Blind Date raspberry wine
- Fuchsia with Blue Pearl bright fuchsia with blue shimmer
- Will You Be With Me? light neutral pink
- Dark Wine berry-wine
I went in search for Blind Date and Dark Wine after seeing swatches online because they looked like great fall shades. Then I remembered that I lost my original Fuchsia with Blue Pearl so I figured it would be a great idea to pick up another tube. Makeup junkie logic. I also picked up Will You Be Mine? since pinky nudes have been growing on me lately. I’m curious to see how it will look blended into one my nude lip liners.
Have you tried any of the Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipsticks?
