We’re well past Valentine’s Day but I’ve been feeling the love for quite some time thanks to It Cosmetics limited edition Love is the Foundation Brush. It released back in October for Breast Cancer Awareness month but my store received a random shipment of them recently and I couldn’t be happier to pick it up. Not only is the It Cosmetics Love is the Foundation Brush insanely beautiful but it’s so plush and soft that I just had to add it to my collection. I needed it!
The Love is the Foundation is an adorable metallic pink brush with a heart shaped brush head that’s fluffy, dense and incredibly soft. Like the rest of the It Cosmetics brushes, Love is the Foundation sports cruelty free synthetic bristles that are anti-microbacterial to prevent picking up germs and spreading them all over your precious skin as you apply foundation. The Love is the Foundation Brush is part of the Live Beauty Fully line which features silver streamlined handles for a weighted controlled application and silky soft synthetic hairs that seriously feel like the real thing.
The Love is the Foundation Brush is hands down the most unique foundation brush you’ll ever see with a long, thin metallic pink metal handle that’s lightweight and easy to control for precise application. The brush head is also heart shaped which makes it seriously irresistible for the average girly girl to resist. The second I laid eyes on it I fell in love! The It Cosmetics Love is the Foundation Brush is the perfect foundation brush for me as it’s small enough for my small face yet very dense so it picks up foundation well and blends like a dream. I’ve been using the Love is the Foundation Brush for over a month now and I just love the way it’s able to fit into all my hard to reach areas (like under my eyes and around my nose) and makes blending my foundation a breeze. Whether I’m rocking liquid or powder, the Love is the Foundation Brush easily buffs and blends leaving me fully covered and flawless in less than 2 minutes. Perfect for my hectic early mornings!
The only drawback is that the Love is the Foundation Brush is limited edition so it can be a bit tricky to find. It originally released back in the fall as an ode to Breast Cancer Awareness with It Cosmetics donating a foundation brush to the America’s Cancer Society Look Good Feel Better Program as a sense of empowerment and beauty for women facing cancer. So as you can imagine, the Love is the Foundation Brush quickly flew off the shelves. However, it’s been popping in and out of stock in stores and online at Ulta so I recommend keeping an eye out for it if you’re searching for a cute, new foundation brush that’s also in support of a great cause. If you can manage to get your hands on it you definitely won’t regret it!
