Oh, Becca. You sure know how to make a girl glow! There were a lot of holiday collections that caught my eye last year but Becca took the gold. Hands down. I ended up with pretty much her entire holiday collection because it was oh so beautiful and I’m a complete highlight freak. That’s why I ended up grabbing the Afterglow Palette before it disappeared from my local Ulta. It’s a lovely cheek palette that features 3 Shimmering Skin Perfectors and 2 Mineral Blushes all wrapped in pretty pink metallic packaging. Perfect for Pink Wednesday!
The Becca Afterglow Palette quickly became a fave of mine because it’s loaded with gorgeous highlighters to mix and match together to create new shimmering shades and glow to the moon and back. Plus there’s 2 neutral blushes to add a little warmth and give my cheeks a natural flush of color.
Prior to grabbing the Afterglow Palette, I had only tried Opal so I was excited to be able to try Moonstone, Rose Gold and Topaz as they were definitely on my list. Part of me still wants to buy the full sized versions of Rose Gold and Topaz because they look amazing on my brown skin and deliver the most stunning glow without a ton of layering. I’m also a big fan of Wild Honey and Flowerchild Mineral Blushes. Wild Honey is a little more faint than I would like but when mixed with Flowerchild it creates this pretty neutral peachy beige with a touch of shimmer that’s perfect for everyday wear.
I’m so happy that higher end limited edition releases are nothing like MAC’s because I actually get time to fully check them out and buy them when I’m ready. Even though the Becca Afterglow Palette was a limited edition holiday release it’s still available in stores and online exclusively at Ulta. Don’t hesitate too much though because you certainly don’t want to miss the Afterglow Palette!
