Who loves chocolate? Fancie loves chocolate! I do, I do, I dooooo! After last year’s holiday season, the last thing I needed was more eyeshadow but Too Faced’s Chocolate Bar Collection is so delectably delicious that there was no way I could deny the new Chocolate Bon Bons Palette for spring. Not only does it smell like chocolate but it’s also covered in pink and features cute heart shaped pans. Could you imagine me not buying it? Nah.
When I first saw the promo pictures for the new Chocolate Bon Bons Palette I thought it was cute but looked a little cheap. Like most of you guys, I was on the fence about it. But of course, that didn’t last too long once I started to see more pictures and swatches of this beauty. After taking advantage of a bomb Groupon deal for Google Express I went ahead and ordered the Chocolate Bon Bons Palette for just $30. Can’t get any better than that!
The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette follows in the footsteps of its older sisters, Chocolate Bar Palette and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette, with 16 matte and shimmer shadows formulated with Too Faced’s signature antioxidant-rich cocoa formula. This time around, Too Faced added a little more pop of color instead of the usual mix of neutrals and I like it! The shades include:
- Almond Truffle matte mauve
- Satin Sheets golden pink
- Sprinkles gilded rose
- Molasses Chip metallic cocoa bronze
- Malted gilded cocoa
- Cashew Chew satin nude
- Cotton Candy iced bubblegum pink
- Café Au Lait metallic taupe
- Bordeaux matte plum brown
- Mocha matte suede
- Black Currant deep metallic amethyst
- Dark Truffle cherry cola shimmer
- Pecan Praline cool greige
- Totally Fetch electric fuchsia pearl
- Earl Grey smokey sapphire
- Divinity matte warm cream
On top of your everyday neutrals like Molasses Chip, Mocha and Satin Sheets there’s a few more fun shades like Cotton Candy, Totally Fetch and Black Currant to help you go from office ready to party time in no time. The vibe is a little more carefree than the Chocolate Bar Palette and Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette but it seems to sport the same soft, buttery pigmented formula as its sister palettes so I look forward to creating some Chocolate Bon Bons themed looks with it. I already know I’m going to love it!
