Goodbye February and hello March! I’m so ready to shake these winter blues and jump head first into spring. Especially after all of the new spring releases and collections that have been popping up at Ulta lately. They make me super anxious! And also make me super broke LOL! I ended up buying a ton of new products last month from nail polish to tons of makeup because February was such an exciting month at Ulta. On the bright side, though, I ended up loving pretty much everything I bought so I’d say February was a pretty great month for me.

Here’s a rundown of all of my favorite products last month:

OPI Hello Kitty Collection If I had to choose my favorite spring collection it would have to be OPI’s limited edition Hello Kitty Collection. It was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen! I’m more of a makeup junkie than a polish junkie but I ended up converting into one after catching wind of the Hello Kitty Collection. I ended up buying 7 of the Hello Kitty polishes in less than a month which is way more than I usually buy a year. But it was so worth it! The OPI Hello Kitty Collection was filled with pretty shades of pink and glitter which we all know is my thing so I just couldn’t resist them. Initially, I just bought a few shades because they were cute and Hello Kitty themed but I really fell in love once I started wearing them. My nails have never looked cuter and I racked up compliments all month with these beauties. My favorite shades were Look at My Bow!, Charmmy & Sugar and Small + Cute = ♥︎.

Becca Tobacco Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation When it comes to foundation, I typically shy away from powders because I have dry skin that doesn’t mesh well with many powders. However, Becca is one of the few companies who got it right with their Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation. I’ve been using the Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation all month and I’m quite impressed with the formula. I’ve used it alone for a light dusting that evens out my skintone without emphasizing my dry skin and paired with liquid foundations to lock my look in place while lightly blurring imperfections. Both ways, the Perfect Skin Mineral Powder Foundation performs very well and has definitely made me an even bigger Becca fan.

Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Bronze I’m a bit of a primer junkie but I’ve never tried a tinted primer until I came across Laura Geller’s Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Bronze. It’s a sheer shimmering bronze that’s lightly hydrating and adds a beautiful subtle glow that’s perfect for my dry skin. I love the way it brightens up my foundation without making my skin look greasy or glittery. The Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Bronze has become one of my favorite new primers this month because it’s like a drink of water for my dry skin and the subtle bronze glow makes my skin look flawless.

Milani Prime Perfection Hydrating + Pore Minimizing Face Primer Did I mention that I was a primer junkie? I switched between the Laura Geller Spackle primer and Milani’s new Prime Perfection Hydrating + Pore Minimizing Face Primer all month with great results. When I wanted more of a glow, I reached for the Laura Geller Spackle and when I wanted my skin to look smoother and more plumped I went with Milani. The Prime Perfection Hydrating + Pore Minimizing Face Primer adds a nice boost of moisture but what I really loved was how well it smoothed out my skin and blurred imperfections. I don’t really have any noticeable pores but I like the way it plumped my fine lines while giving my foundation a smooth base to adhere to.

Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask I have to be honest. I haven’t been washing my makeup brushes nearly as often as I should and it’s been causing my skin to act a little funky here and there. My schedule was a bit crazy last month so I never really had time to deep cleanse my brushes which led to a few breakouts and blemishes here and there. Usually, I opt for one of my clay masks to help deep cleanse my pores and thoroughly remove all that yucky bacteria but I’ve been too tired to mask so I’ve been relying heavily on my Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask. It gently detoxes and soothes sensitive skin and it can be worn overnight so I’ve been sleeping in it pretty much every night last month to help keep my skin clean and clear. It’s been working like a charm too! I actually ended up putting a huge dent in my full sized jar because I’ve been using it so much. I’ll have to get another jar very soon!

NYX Cinnamon Roll Intense Butter Gloss I had a lot of early shifts last month that led to me showing up to work with either no makeup (minus my eyes) or just a little foundation so I’ve been rocking the NYX Cinnamon Roll Intense Butter Gloss a lot. It’s a cool beige-brown that’s the perfect nude gloss for my complexion. Cinnamon Roll also has a plush, moisturizing formula that’s easy to apply and keeps my lips moist and juicy for hours which makes it perfect for long days at work. It’s been in my makeup bag all month and probably won’t be making an exit anytime soon.

Ardell 105 Glamour Lashes I never thought I could survive wearing just one style of falsies for an entire month but the stunning Ardell 105 Glamour Lashes easily made it possible. They look really long but they’re actually quite wearable since they aren’t super thick and the band is practically invisible. Not only did I rack up tons of compliments on them but I had a lot of guests making a double take to ask, “OMG are those your natural lashes?” Now that’s what I’m talking about! I usually prefer more dramatic falsies that really stand out but I fell in love with 105 Glamour Lashes last month because they meshed well with my minimal makeup looks without looking too crazy or made up. They add just the right amount of glamour for any look whether it’s regular ol’ liner, a killer eyeshadow look or a wicked wing. The 105 Glamour Lash looks beautiful every time!
