Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser Review

Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser

The best part about being a girl is getting to sit in front of the mirror for over an hour beating your face to perfection. From perfectly blended smokey eyes to a stunning highlight and sharp contour, I just love sitting in front of my vanity and laying out a full face of makeup to look more fierce than ever before. That’s what being a girl is all about! However, one of the best feelings in the world is when you get to go home and take it all off so your skin can breathe freely and, alas, you can wipe your eyes. Sweet relief!

I have no idea why I’m always so eager to rub my eyes at the end of a long day but it’s like second nature once I finally make it home and sit in bed to catch up on my favorite shows. That’s why some nights I immediately rush to the bathroom to remove my makeup so I can rub my eyes and pass out watching TV in peace. Because there’s nothing worse than falling asleep without removing your makeup and waking up in a panic that your skin may or may not end up falling off by the end of the week. Yikes!

Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser

That’s why I rely so heavily on double cleaning these days because it removes all of my makeup and makes sure that I pass out with clean skin and wake up blemish free the next morning. I recently switched up my double cleansing products after finishing my Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil and Lancome Comforting Milky Creme Cleanser with great success and ended up falling in love with some new cleansers. Like the Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser I got on sale at Sephora. It’s a foaming cleanser and makeup remover in one formulated with soothing skin-loving ingredients like wheat amino acids and Vitamins A, C and E to gently deep cleanse skin and remove makeup without irritating or stripping sensitive skin. I’ve been using it every night for about 2 months and I’m kicking myself for not ordering 2 bottle because the formula is so good!

The Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser is like bubble bath for your face. It dispenses are pure foam and turns into a rich, gentle lather that works well to remove leftover traces of makeup after my cleansing oil as well as the dirt and oil my skin has been carrying around all day. Once I rinse, my skin feels super clean yet still soft and never tight and dry like some foaming cleanser tend to do.

Even when I use the Gentle Foaming Cleanser alone it still cleanses well and leaves my dry skin feeling soft and supple. The only difference is it takes a little extra effort to remove my waterproof eyeliner and Dipbrow than it would when paired with a cleansing oil. So i still recommend removing your makeup prior to using the Gentle Foaming Cleanser for the best results. Either way, I whole heartedly think the Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser is life for all skin types and was a hell of a steal for just $13 when I snagged it from Sephora during their Sale After Sale. I usually tend to bounce from product to product but I think that I’ll more than likely end up repurchasing the Peter Thomas Roth Gentle Foaming Cleanser once I’ve finished it. It’s really great!
