Too Faced Chocolate Cherries Melted Chocolate Lipstick Review

Too Faced Chocolate Cherries Melted Chocolate Liquified Lipstick

Chocolate cherries without the calories or toothaches? Yes please! Too Faced has been serving up all kinds of sweet goodies this spring but I think the new Chocolate Cherries Melted Lipstick is my favorite so far. I know spring is all about bright lips and playful colors but every now and then I like to vamp it up a bit with a bold sexy lip that commands attention the second I walk into a room. That’s exactly why Chocolate Cherries deserves a spot in my overcrowded lipstick stash. It’s a sexy lip that’s edgy, daring and smells like chocolate. What more can a girl ask for?

Chocolate Cherries is a deep blackened red with a brown undertone and creamy satin finish that looks amazing on everyone and, of course, smells like a heavenly piece of chocolate cake. Chocolate Cherries isn’t the most unique shade in the world but Too Faced manages to put a unique spin on it with their Melted cocoa-infused formula that doesn’t just smell good but also has some nice benefits too. Like being loaded with antioxidants that help nourish lips and protect them from environmental damage while the chocolate scent boosts your mood with chocolate-themed day dreams and good vibes. I’d say that’s makes Chocolate Cherries worth  picking up!

Chocolate Cherries isn’t just a delight because of the gorgeous color and delicious scent. The formula is really good too! Chocolate Cherries applies smoothly and evenly with a lightweight creamy texture and crazy intense pigmentation that completely covers my pigmented lips in one swipe. Upon application, it has a soft sheen that makes lips look full, juicy and kissable but after an hour or two the sheen fades and Chocolate Cherries dries down to a soft matte finish that’s comfortable to wear.

Chocolate Cherries lasts for around 6-7 hours before it begins to fade away into a solid stain. It does start feel a bit drying as it fades but topping it with a little balm or gloss helps it wear all day and night without completely sucking the moisture out of your lips. Lately I’ve been finding myself reaching for Chocolate Cherries a lot because it compliments my brown skin so well and it adds a fierce touch to my simple makeup looks on the days I’m feeling lazy. Or it seriously adds some edge and glamour when I’m more dolled up and contoured for the makeup gods. Either way, I’ll probably still be reaching for Chocolate Cherries this spring because it’s just too damn yummy not to!
