Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Round Up

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty Haul

Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty has come and gone and taken a chunk of my money. LOL! I definitely saw it coming though because the Beauty Steals and Hot Buys (we’ll discuss later) were just too good to pass up. Up to 50% off Prestige makeup, skin and nail goodies? Those are the kinda deals you just can’t miss! Prestige products almost never go on sale at Ulta so 21 Days of Beauty was the perfect time to stock up on favorites or try something new. I used the opportunity to try a lot of new products that were either already on my list or would have never crossed my mind but turned out to be pretty amazing. Basically, I had a lot of fun during 21 Days of Beauty!

Philosophy Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash, It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder, Ulta Beauty 252 Pink Diamond Matte, 249 Sweet Caramel Matte, 239 Coming Up Roses, 236 Fuchsia Fever Lipstick

Day 1 fell on a Sunday so along with 2 awesome beauty steals the Ulta Beauty Collection Lipsticks were all $3 for the day. I’ve heard a lot of great things about Philosophy’s Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash so it was first on my list to take home at just $14. I love to exfoliate on a regular basis because I have dry skin that could use a little extra polishing to make sure I keep the dead skin cells off for a smooth, glowing complexion that’s always makeup ready. I’m a little overstocked on skincare at the moment so I haven’t tried the Microdelivery Exfoliating Facial Wash just yet but I’m definitely looking forward to trying it.

The It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder was also a Beauty Steal so it was knocked down to just $12 for the day. A lot of guests came in asking about it so I was curious to demo it in the store to see what all the fuss was about. It turns out, that the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Silk HD Anti-Aging Micro-Powder is truly heaven sent for my dry skin. It’s the silkiest translucent powder I’ve ever tried in my life and one of the only formulas that works to set my concealer and prevent creasing without making my eyes look dry and cakey.

Since the Ulta Beauty Collection Lipsticks were just $3 I couldn’t resist grabbing a handful of those too. I ended up grabbing 2 bright pinks and a couple of nudes to pop to try out. After swatching them in store, I had a feeling I would like them because they were very soft and creamy with nice pigmentation too. So far, I’ve already tried one of the Ulta Beauty Collection Lipsticks and I really enjoyed the formula so I’m more than happy that I was able to get my hands on a few shades at an excellent price.

Too Faced Peach Beach + Something About Berry Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush

If you haven’t noticed, I’m becoming a bit of a Too Faced junkie these days so it was a no brainer to pick up a couple of the Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blushes when they went on sale for just $15. There were 3 shades available to choose from but only 2 worked for my brown skin so it only made sense to grab them both. My choices were Peach Beach and Something About Berry. They’re both blushes and highlighters in one containing lots of fine golden shimmer and a hint of color that are simply beautiful. I’ve worn Peach Beach before and it seems to work best as a highlighter on me but Something About Berry has a little more color to it so it adds more of a flush than Peach Beach. I still like them both and look forward to sharing them with you!

Ulta Beauty Collection 240 Pink Chocolate Nude Lipstick, 260 Sweet Mocha Nude Lipstick, 230 Chocolate Kiss Lipstick, 224 Coffee Break Lipstick

The Ulta Beauty Collection was featured everyday of the week during 21 Days of Beauty and I turned out to be a huge sucker for the $3 lipstick days. I ended up grabbing another round of lipsticks but this time I opted for all nudes. I’ve been digging nude lips lately and couldn’t think of a better time to try some new shades and formulas than during 21 Days of Beauty. I’ve already tried Chocolate Kiss and absolutely loved the color and the formula which reassures me that grabbing 8 lipsticks in less than 2 weeks was actually not too bad of an idea. LOL! The Ulta Beauty Collection lipsticks are very creamy and moisturizing making them a great buy for lipstick lovers with a variety of colors and formulas.

Laura Geller Sunswept Baked Blush-N-Brighten

Last but certainly not least, I grabbed one of the Laura Geller Baked Blush-N-Brighten baked blushes in the shade Sunswept for just $15. The more time I spend at Ulta, the more I realize just how underrated Laura Geller is. Her products are simply amazing and her blushes and highlighters are pure life. The Baked Blush-N-Brighten line includes a handful of beautiful blushes loaded with fine shimmer to add a natural flush of color and soft sheen with ease. I wanted a couple of them but I decided to just grab one after scoring the limited edition Just Blushing Baked Blush Trio online for 30% off. I settled on Sunswept, a golden bronze with hints of pink and fine golden shimmer. It’s more of a bronzer and highlighter on my brown skin which I have plenty of but Sunswept was way too stunning to pass up. I could easily see myself wearing it as an everyday blush and bronzer for a pretty golden glow that’ll brighten just as Laura Geller says.
