On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!
Ready for some pink? Of course you are you girly girl you! I don’t know about you but I could wear pink all the time. Pink makeup makes me feel so feminine and flirty. Or bold and fun. Whatever I’m in the mood for. Pink is an incredibly versatile color that anyone can pull off whether it’s on the lips, nails, or cheeks. This week, I decided to celebrate my love for pink with a killer pink cheek combo that’s perfect for spring and summer.
Bobbi Brown is known for whipping up some nice natural everyday pinks so it’s no surprise that I was able to put together a cute pink cheek combo with ease that isn’t too in your face. I love a good bright pink lip but I’m not quite as quick to reach for a bright pink blush as I am a more neutral one. That’s why I have a thing for Bobbi’s Desert Pink blush. It’s a soft, muted rose pink with a matte finish that adds a nice wash of color without being too bright or vibrant. Desert Pink is a great option for an everyday pink as it suits all skin tones and pairs well with pretty much any lip color.
I’m not one to just wear blush alone though. Nah. I need a highlighter on top! Lucky for me, Bobbi’s Sunset Pink Shimmer Brick works perfectly as a shimmering topper or Desert Pink. Sunset Pink Shimmer Brick was released last summer in the limited edition Telluride Collection and it features 5 shimmering strips of bronze, champagne, gold and pink that can be used alone as eyeshadows or swirled together for a beautiful highlight. I think Sunset Pink is beautiful either way but I definitely prefer to wear it as a highlighter as it looks absolutely stunning on my cheeks. I just happen to love the two of them together! Unfortunately, Sunset Pink is limited edition so it’s not available anymore but Bobbi’s permanent Rose or Pink Quartz Shimmer Brick will work well as pink-toned replacement to help give your neutral pink blushes the extra oomph they need.
