Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner Review
Makeup is all about being creative and having fun but there’s a few products that should definitely be taken seriously–like liquid eyeliner. Like animals, liquid eyeliner can smell fear and intimidation. It just seems to prey on the meek and innocent leaving crooked lines and black smears all over the place. Liquid eyeliners can be dangerous! Well, sometimes. The liquid eyeliners that come with those little flimsy brushes that require a steady, experienced painting hand are definitely dangerous. However, the felt tip marker liquid eyeliners are a lot less intimidating and dangerous. After years of despising liquid liners, I’ve kinda grown a liking to Sharpie-esque liquid liners. They’re so much easier to use and control–even with a shaky hand.
The Maybelline Precise Ink Eyeliner and Jouer Kitten Liner have certainly helped me come around to liquid liners but I have to say that it’s Stila’s sensational Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner that has made me a true believer of the wonders of liquid eyeliner. This baby is sleek! The Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner looks like a chic black marker with gold accents and a long, sturdy super fine felt tip applicator. The applicator makes application a breeze as it’s sturdy enough to maneuver through my short, curly lashes yet still has a nice flexibility to it where it glides on smoothly and evenly without tugging or skipping. The Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner comes in a handful of shades but my go to is the Intense Black–a rich black with a vinyl finish.
As the name implies, the Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner is indeed waterproof so it holds up extremely well on my watery eyes and will definitely last on oily lids too. It only takes a few seconds for the Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner to set to a budge-proof shiny finish that’s practically indestructible. I get over 10 hours of wear without noticing any signs of fading, smudging or flaking. Which is amazing because my allergy ridden eyes get pretty watery throughout the day this time of year. I wasn’t quite convinced if the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner was all that it was cracked up to be before trying it but I’m certainly a believer now!
